As mentioned earlier this week ❤

But to recap,
I received some guidance recently, that Faerie wants me to let the bottom half of faerie figures flow out in spirals like this, so this will likely be the first of many such expressions. I’m not sure how often I will feel like that needs to be applied, but I do plan on exploring this flowing-form idea more, at least in individual Faerie pieces.

So now that I’m getting back into the swing of working on things after Gnome and Fairy Fest, here’s a little teaser of what’s coming next!

I still need to be catching up on commissions again (almost done!) BUT on top of that is a project for the restaurant in the hotel I work at – Kilpatrick’s, the only Irish pub in Ithaca, which is participating in this year’s Wizarding Weekend.

This mural decorates the dining room, evoking the Irish countryside. So of course, the head Chef and restaurant manager want to Hogwarts it up 😀 And I am fortunate enough that they asked me! (They’ve also got me doing a coloring page placemat design for the Kids’ Menu, with Irish faeries, but more on that at a later time.)

I’m going to be putting Hogwarts castle on the hill there, of course, and a dragon flying in the background too. Measurements and plans are done for both of those, as well as actual drawing progress on a certain Professor and his ill-fated (but rescued) companion:

They’ll be standing in front of the cottage, of course.

More on this as I get more done! Hoping to be finished with the drawings by the end of the week. In the meantime, please check out the event’s website. Its quite literally magical fun 🙂

(Including myself.)

I haven’t posted much here lately – the last couple of months have been really emotionally trying and as a result I’ve drifted away from creating and posting work. I’m just getting back into the swing of drawing, though, so I guess this is me writing to get back into the swing of posting too.

Some more work on the drawing I posted the other day.

It’s nice to draw Tock and the Orc Lady’s faces closer together like this, for a change. Oh height differences.

So I haven’t been posting much lately. But I worked on this some today in order to try and get excited about drawing again, and renew commitment to my projects. So here’s Tock in progress with certain other characters who will be revealed later.

Hoping to post more soon.

WARNINGS: Will contain lesbian romance, size-positivity, Faerie, conundrums and tomfoolery.

(Whoops, forgot to post this the other day!)
