Happy Sunday everyone!

Here’s some context

Not sure what she’s praying for, but its been a challenging week here, so this manifested.

Personal work, about a very important anniversary of mine, today.
4 years now.

I am ever surprised and grateful.

(Also, gorgeous shawl by my amazing wife, who I can hardly believe is still here with me. I am very, very blessed.)

So earlier this year I started working with Hathor (the Egyptian Goddess of love, beauty, and creation) as one of my Patron Goddesses.

She actually Called me MANY years ago, before I was able to answer such a direct spiritual communion. I feel blessed that She has waited for me so patiently and I’m happy to be working with Her now.

As to how/what She relates (to) in my life, She seems to be governing my sobriety and my recent veganism.

Personal work. Dedicated to all the lives lost to addiction.

Okay, considering that I advertise this as a Faerie Faith website, I should probably talk some about my own experiences with Faerie.

I haven’t had anything like they say in the stories – actually getting pulled between the worlds, or seeing little maidens with bright butterfly wings, etc. But I have felt their presence in my life, more and more as I have come to accept my belief in them. Here is some of how that has happened for me.

So I work in a hotel as my day job, and normally I try not to talk much about that on here, but I have a fun story to share:

A few nights ago, some guests checked in that are here for the whole weekend. It was a grown man and his elderly parents – I helped them with their luggage, but in the process I missed seeing his father as I took their luggage up to the room. While I was up there helping his mother get situated, he and his father parked the car and came back up, knocking on the door instead of using their key. I stepped over to open it, and upon seeing me, he delightedly asked if I was their Room Gnome.

Seeing as I am who I am, and he meant it so kindly and happily, I was delighted too. And of course, they’re getting art (and snacks) throughout the weekend, compliments of their Room Gnome.

(Including myself.)

I haven’t posted much here lately – the last couple of months have been really emotionally trying and as a result I’ve drifted away from creating and posting work. I’m just getting back into the swing of drawing, though, so I guess this is me writing to get back into the swing of posting too.
