Orctober 2021 day 31 (and Sunday Gnomedays!)

Last day last daaaaaaaaay, ya maggots!!! Today’s from Qd, “Spirits.” With a nod to my intended theme of Stones, too.

💫🧚‍♀️ Blessed Samhain as well to all my witchy kin celebrating this day of remembrance, otherworldliness, and magic 🧙‍♀️💫

(And of course, Blessed Beltane to all celebrating in the southern hemisphere!)

Considering the prompt, and the similarity of these hats to certain pointed others, I couldn’t resist another Onna and Tock moment to wrap up this challenge! Orctober 2021 day 30

Today’s from Qd’s prompt for yesterday, “…a pumpkin?”

The Orcs of “Tock the Gnome” are hunter/gatherers, living in a climate that is temperate, with a full range of seasons. Pumpkins seem to have originated in tropical/subtropical climates here on Earth, so I think that any Orc stumbling upon one as they forage would be quite surprised!

Tock’s realm is of Faerie though, so you never know what could bleed through where it’s not “supposed” to! 🎃

Orctober 2021 day 29 (and Fanart Friday with comic review – “Orcs!”)

Today’s prompt from Hitorik! “Embassy (of the Horde).”

So, bending the rules again to fit the idea of embassy in general, specifically “a deputation or mission sent by one ruler or state to another.” Considering how Orcs are treated in a lot of fantasy media, still, I think that any Orc-positive work that any of us do is in the spirit of embassy to the less-Orc-positive parts of fandom and genre!

Today’s from Qd, “Coffee break!”

So, though we’re faaaaaaar from this in canon, there IS coffee in “Tock the Gnome.” Actia has access to it already, Bumble will be introduced to it eventually, and then of course so will everyone else.

…..Tock doesn’t need any, though, so it looks like Onna gets a coffee break on her own!

(And of course, Actia and Bumble getting coffee first is no accident, thanks and props to my coffee-loving Wife 💜)
