Needlefelted Orc maiden

Needle felted Orc maiden, guarded by a fairy. Because what else was I going to start my needle felted postings with? 🙂

(Also, Orc maiden in the style of Tock the Gnome, of course.)

So I was at the Southern Adirondack Fiber Festival this past weekend with Llady Llama Fiber Co. (my amazing llady’s business), and I happened upon these totally delightful needlefelted Gnomes (and faeries, and dragons, and many other wondrous things).

They’re from “Going Gnome,” created by Melissa and Jennifer VanSant.

I was lucky enough to get to talk to them a bit about our common interest in these wee folk, and after talking to them about my illustration work and “Tock the Gnome,” I hope to be doing a little work for them sometime in the future.

Fingers crossed, but either way, if you’re into adorable woolen fae creatures you should check them out!
