For my father-in-law this recent Yuletide. Things have been busy busy busy so anyone that got drawings, got lineart ^^;

Remember that delightful little local festival I spent months frantically preparing for last September, leading up to festival day, October 1st?

Well, somehow I missed this article, which I actually interviewed for that day, and then completely spaced out on!

Still so grateful to have been a part of this and looking forward to it again this coming (…..far off, but still coming) fall ❤
Thanks once more to Kristina at Amuse Modern Cottage Industry and Press Bay Alley in general for putting on the festival and inviting me to be a part of it. And thanks to Ithaca Week for featuring me in this article!

So I’ve recently been introduced to (and positively inhaled) the Blythewood Series by Carol Goodman. It was wonderful, and though I’m technically done reading it and don’t have a lot of spare drawing time right now, I had to get some of the characters – and the feel of the fantastic world – down on paper. I have a feeling they’re going to be with me for some time, and I am very grateful and inspired.

From top left, clockwise (hah) – Avaline Hall, Raven, a couple that may stand for any number of loves in the story, Helen van Beek, Nathan Beckwith, Daisy Moffat, and Featherbell. And throughout, the Shadows, of course.

From left to right – Miss Lillian Corey and Miss Vionetta Sharp.

“But how could I have even thought such a thing, when the only person I ever want to be with is you?”

If you’ve never heard of the series, seriously seriously go read it. It’s like Harry Potter, but with an all girls’ school and faeries!!!

Characters © Carol Goodman. Fanart by me, of course.

Second sketch commission for DarthVengeance0325 over at dA, of another of his original characters. He wanted me to draw someone wholly evil to juxtapose with his first sketch commission, which was about true love.

I must say I enjoyed the challenge, I don't draw people like this every day.

A random reimagining of some old characters based on the "X-men: Evolution" fanfiction I wrote in late high school/early college.

…Yup, I've always been like this.
