As the Powers that Be would have it, I find myself Called again – this time by a Goddess I already had a very casual acquaintance with already.

Her name is Aine, Celtic Goddess of sovereignty, the land and Love. And Faerie Queen.

As mentioned earlier this week ❤

But to recap,
I received some guidance recently, that Faerie wants me to let the bottom half of faerie figures flow out in spirals like this, so this will likely be the first of many such expressions. I’m not sure how often I will feel like that needs to be applied, but I do plan on exploring this flowing-form idea more, at least in individual Faerie pieces.

Greetings everyone! It’s been a slow week after the amazingness of vending at Gnome and Fairy Fest last Saturday ❤ I’m just starting to get my creative flow back, so here’s a bit of that (hopefully that also means more work on “Tock the Gnome” page 71 later too).

Inspired by the Celtic Faerie-Queen Goddess Aine, and blessed by a lovely sunbeam.

In the meantime, I’m happy to announce that I’m now listed on the Ithaca NY Community Arts Partnership in their Artist Registry! Yay! Here is that if you’d like to take a look.

Work on my online shop continues, still hoping to have that up tomorrow or Saturday, so everything I had at the festival will be available there soon – well, mostly: the Faetishes are all one of a kind, so those that already sold are gone forever! And hopefully being enjoyed right now, brightening their owners’ spaces with Faerie vibes 🙂

Aaaaaaaaaand one other amazing thing that happened on October 1st is that the wonderful H.M. Barone, who I’m lucky to be friends with, released her third book! “The Zoey Jane Files: Milan Courtship.”

As I mentioned in the first announcement post, the book is on special discount for the first 6 months – just enter the coupon code VH75H when ordering!

If you like spy stories, romance, and secret identities, please check it out! I did the first two covers as well (which are also available here).

I hope everyone’s having a wonderful start to fall (or spring, if you’re on the southern half of our beautiful planet). Thanks again to any new visitors, and long-time watchers of my work too! Bright blessings ~~<3

Pencil sketch, "Goddess Aine, Faerie Queen"Drew this last year intending to finish it in color, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. So here it is for now after all.

Aine is the Irish Celtic Goddess and Faerie Queen of Midsummer, the sun AND the moon, sovereignty, love and creativity. She also rules women’s rights and protection as she has been assaulted herself (and punished her attackers), and can take the form of a red mare.

I resonate very strongly with her story and my work with Faerie.
