Time again. I have another idea in my thinky-thoughts that’s more related to my personal anniversary yesterday, but that’s taking it’s time getting on paper. So here’s some dancey Gnomish flower magic in the meantime.

Kilpatrick’s Public House that is, the only Irish Pub here in Ithaca NY!

A while ago I was asked to do this, and I am very grateful that it’s finally worked out (and that they were on board with me drawing oodles of Irish faeries)! This drawing is very much in service to them – I hope that anyone looking at this or coloring it as they wait for their meal thinks about the fae, and the richness of Irish culture.

From the top left, counter-clockwise:

Finding myself fighting my own negativity and abrasiveness today, and really really wanting Love to come in and take my weapons away.

(Also, this went through several different incarnations in my head before pencil hit paper, and I’m actually very surprised and happy with how it decided to be.)

Ta da!!!

More views below (click for larger views!).

Ten Forward has a charmingly small art space – all atop that bookshelf and the walls above it – but since my work is so small I chose to just show on the bookshelf and on a few pegs that hang below the windows (there was an option to suspend more from higher up, but surprise, I chose the cozy option!).

For my October show I had a much more fluid arrangement of pieces, and many of those pieces are featured again here, so I had to rearrange some things for a more linear feel. I like that, though – It makes it feel really sequential to me, and reads really well if you start at the left end (which are all “Tock the Gnome”-related pieces), then things shift a bit to a more serious Tock piece (“Purity”) followed immediately by the (currently unposted) “Tea Meditation Fae,” which is very much about more general Faerie-inspiration! That theme persists as you move forward, along with a couple features of work I’ve done for others (my Gnome designs for the Weber sisters’ The Chronicles of Dru, and at the end there, that new fanart of Jaclyn Weber’s and GrimReapette’s “KINGS”).

That very last piece, above my information, is a very special one that’s been long overdue. I will be posting the scan of it here ….soon. Gotta give some incentive for people to go see it in person, you know!

That said, if you are in the Central New York area, please come take a look! And again, grab some food!!! I am honored to be bringing Faerie light to such a delicious and planet-friendly place.

…Creative hat focus this week. Yes.

Blessed time again, everyone 💗

Something joyful from a hopeful moment yesterday. Hope everyone is starting to feel springtime in their hearts!

With “Tock the Gnome” this week, as I haven’t been able to work on her story very much these last few days.

Also still thinking lots about the comic in terms of my service to Faerie, sooooo Tock gets a cairn.
