She’s another one I didn’t know much about, and it sounds like she’s had it rough (all 3 of her!). So here’s something calming for her, too.

So the lovely Jen Goodsell over on Insta set a new sketch prompt for the Twelve Days of Christmas – Twelve Days of DC, with a prompt list that starts with Poison Ivy.

…..I may not celebrate Christmas, but how could I resist?

I also think the idea is for them to be more holiday themed, which I will attempt for the rest of them. But my own concern for the environment – and Ivy’s concern, of course – won out for this one. So we get her seriousness and her power.

Hope you all enjoy these as I finish up other projects! ❤

As I mentioned yesterday, I got to see it in theaters and I am so happy with how they did. I have been a fan of hers since at least 2004, so the existence of this movie is a really big deal to me. It did not disappoint.

To celebrate even more, here’s a history of my love for her in fanart.

Happy sigh.

As for what I thought of the film….

(I will try to keep this as spoiler-free as possible. But expect some, hopefully vague ones.)

So I got to see “Wonder Woman” today. Holy Hera.

I didn’t agree with every detail, BUT, they did such justice to who she is and were really spot on where it mattered most.

This film is just SO important for so many reasons. Please, everyone go see it.

Inspired by DC's upcoming reboot of pretty much everything, including Wonder Woman, and this post about how people seem to think that the "princess thing" is bad for little girls (in terms of Rapunzel, and Princess Leia).

Also based on the redesign of Wonder Woman that I did for my final project in Women's Studies while I was in college.
