dElfcember 13, “Wolf”

With a Wolfrider from “Elfquest,” of course!

Had to had to. I’m very grateful for these comics and what they’ve given me over the years.

“Strange blood! No regrets. We would not turn aside.

It brought us safely through the fire where all the others died.

Strange blood! Howl again, for now we know too well:

Better a friend on paths unknown than be alone in hell!”

~ Leslie Fish, “Strange Blood,”

from “A Wolfrider’s Reflections”

Sunday Gnomedays 11-4-18, Gnomevember 2018 day 4

Prompt, Animals 🐏

“Tock the Gnome” Gnomes who live in the cities don’t interact with animals too much in Tock’s time, but the few small communities that live on the mountains’ surface are very dependent on them (as are the city Gnomes, actually, they just don’t think about it) – aside from farming vegetables, there are also many sheep farms, from where the Gnomes get fiber to make their clothes and other linens!

So here is a shepherd , possibly on his way to market with his flock, if the fancy pointed hat is to be any indication.

Sunday Gnomedays 12-31-17

Last one of 2017!

Happy New Year, everyone! Thank you so all the likes and follows and lovely comments!

(And thank you, honestly, to “Trollhunters” for inspiring me to do this series! I don’t think I’ve said so before, but the treatment of Gnomes on that show is what got me to dedicate each Sunday to a more positive, spiritual new piece of Gnome art. I’m so glad I did, and I hope you all have been enjoying them too – and please do check out that show, Gnomes aside, it is a very fun story and does Trolls justice!)

Here’s to making next year even more Gnomish!
